Few days ago, one of my friend asked me, how I setup namecheap domain (Custom Domain) into my blogspot blog. Now, I am going to share my experience about that process that I use to setup custom domain. For the domain at namecheap, you have to pay and can use Paypal without a credit card. For hosting you do not need to think again, because Blogspot provide free facilities.

Now, just follow the following steps to install namecheap domain on blogspot.

Step 1: First LogIn your blogger blog account. And from “Dashboard” go “Setting”.

Well, your settings on Blogspot blog is completed. Next, you have to wait 24 hours to 48 hours. In between it will show 404 error. Good luck and congratulation for your new blog domain name!

    Hi Rajib,

Google updated the Custom Domain setup process in late September. After update, there are 2 CNAME records required to be set up for Blogger. Many tutorials on Internet are not working any more because of without update.

I have created a latest step by step tutorial with detail screenshots base on my experience with the setup process. Hope it can help your readers.

The latest tutorial can be found on my blog here:
    bloggerjourney.com/2012/10/latest-how-to-set-up-blogger-blogspot.html

Thank you for the great tutorial you did here!

    Waiting for your reply
    Thank you

All link will be redirected automatically to your custom domain. If you shift from Blogger to WordPress, then you have to add some code to redirect.
