It would be advisable to stick to the conventional ecommerce design where the product description appears on the right, and the image on the left. This is important since most visitors intuitively scan a web page from left to right. Make sure the main description and image appears above the fold. Display a number of high quality product images showing the product from different angles. Your descriptions need to be short and precise, offering vital details such as the different sizes and colors available. Finally, you need to ensure that your call to action button appears prominently on all the product pages.
