Recently Google released their +1 Button that will show publicly what you like or recommend on the web. When you plusone (+1) an post, your name will appear under that post when that post appears in search results. You can also find out when your friends read, liked and recommend any post. Google introduce this +1 button to make Google search more useful and relevant.

How To Add Google +1 Button To Blogger And WordPress

So here is our little guide on how to add the official Google +1 button on your Blogger and WordPress blog.

Add Google +1 Button on Blogger Blog

From Dashboard go Design > Edit HTML and by pressing F3 search <div class="post-header-line-1"/>. After that place the below code –

You can customize this code. Better if you go their official site Google +1 your website. You also can add this button by using blogger official share button. To add this go Design > Page Element and click Edit on post. A new windows will appear like following.

To add this button into your WordPress blog go to header.php search </head> and immediately before </head>place the following code –

Next up is placing the button where you actually want on your blog, so go to single.php and place the following code where you want it to display

<g:plusone href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>"></g:plusone>

    Nice article but if you are using then you don't have to do above things. All you have to do is, just find the plugin in Admin area and then install it.
